After a very pleasant slumber with dreams of gold and gems, the runaways woke up to find the rest of the crew surrounding them and brandishing weapons. The runaways leaped onto their pierced bellies (which I imagine would hurt) at Scurvy’s feet, grovelling. They cried that during the night another ship had invaded and forced them to steal the loot and runaway with it. Then, after they had got to the island, the invaders took the valuables and tied them (the runaways) up. The runaways then told Scurvy that the invaders went north just up those mountains.
